Diploma in Automobile Engineering (A.T.Engineering)
Diploma Examination is conducted by Institution of Mechanical Engineers
India. Diploma is of T-ENG. LEVEL. It consists of Part I and Part II
Examinations. The examination of this institution which are
recognized by Government of India as also several state governments, Union
Public Service Commission and public sector undertaking, Defense
Establishments and Indian Railways, rather than getting depressed in not
being able to secure admission in polytechnic/engineering colleges. They can
thus become qualified Automobile/mechanical engineers through the examination conducted
by the Institution.This is a Three year diploma program recognised by
Government of India and state government for jobs in the supervisory cadre.
Students after completing this course can apply for lateral entry to B.E ,
B.Tech, AMIE or to any engineering Degree programs of Universities all over
India.
Part I
A Pass in 10th Standard with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with
6 months engineering work experience either as Trainee or Employee.

Part II

work experience either as trainee or Employee.

least three months mandatory Apprenticeship/ Practical Training at any AICTE
recognized polytechnic for award of Technician Engineers Certificate
